- What is a webinar
- How do I sign up for one
- Once I have signed up then what?
- What happens when I am on the webinar?
These are very common questions and as webinars are becoming more and more popular, here is some simple infomation about them
A Webinar is simply an online presentation, a training session, a promotion of a product etc.
Anyone attending the webinar as an attendee will be able to see from their computer screen, what the presenter is showing on their screen – i.e a powerpoint presentation or perhaps demostrating something from the internet.
Attendees can hear the presenter via their computers speakers OR via a telephone conncection if you do not have speakers. A local number will have been provided to you once you register.
If the Webinar allows attendees to participate in any discussion during the webinar, then this is done via your computers mic (headset is recommended) OR again via the phone line as mentioned above.
