KISS Training – Keeping IT Simple
What is a Webinar?
At KISS Training we hold most of our training sessions by Webinar – which is short for Web-based seminar. A Webinar is simply a LIVE seminar or training session delivered online. The presentation is shown on the computer screen and is listened to via your computer speakers (headphones recommended) OR via a telephone line (the cost is minimal for the training you received).
Participants can interact in the same way as you can in a “face to face” seminar or training session as participants can raise a “virtual hand” and ask questions there and then.
Attending a webinar saves you time, money and stress as you can attend from your home of office – no more travelling to venues!
How do I sign up and participate in the Webinar?
1 Once you click the Webinar link for the course you want to attend, you will be taken to a Registration Page.
2 Once registered you will receive a Thank You email giving you all the webinar details – including the link you need to access the webinar at the scheduled time
3 About 15 minutes ahead of the meeting, sign onto Webinar (using the link that was e-mailed)
4. Once connected you can either listen via your computer speakers OR you may need to dial in using the phone number given in the e-mail.
