People generally like to be able to voice their opinions, experiences, concerns, and questions.

Several internet customers these days are becoming extremely participatory in sharing their thoughts and possessing community forums is a good way to take advantage of this outlet. Both the participants and the webmaster benefit.

But it is not always the best for all people, there are sometimes alternatives whilst not the best for the masses, are better for distinct niches?

So what attributes make up the best blogging software on the market? I believe that it has to:

* Be free to use – there are so many paid for blogging tools about, why pay for software?
* Be flexible and extendible – if you want to add a feature to it, such as site maps, captcha checked contact forms, this must be easy to do.
* Be easy to set-up and install.
* Be easy to make it look different to other blogs – there is no point in running a professional blog that looks like 3,000,000 other blogs.
* Have ready made (and free) off-the-shelf styles readily available to install at the touch of a button.
* Be well search engine optimised and accepted by the search engines.
* Ideally, it should have a community of other bloggers that can also drift over to your new blog from related blogs.

Online forums have become increasingly popular over the last few years. Just in case you were wondering, a forum is a place online where people can gather to share their thoughts on a certain subject. Many are considered learning portals full of information that can be absorbed by the user in need.

If you need, or want to learn something in particular, this could be used as a great starting area for any matter at hand. You can easily find this type of help by simply typing your main subject into your browser, accompanied by the plus symbol and the words forum. For example, let’s say that you are looking for information on weight loss. Type weight loss + forum into any web browser of your choice, and voila the answers you are looking for will be right at your fingertips. Most online forums will require you to sign up in order to submit any post. However, most will allow you to read until your hearts content without filling out, or signing up for anything.

Many times your question has already been posted, and answered saving you the time. People actually use forums as a way of advertising in many cases. They might hold the key to unlock the answers that you desire, but it may be tucked away in a website that belongs to them. There is nothing wrong with this in any way shape, or form as long as they are offering quality, helpful responses. The next time you find yourself needing a little help from an expert, in the area of your choice find a related forum and give it a chance. You will be glad that you did.

Brian Helps moderate forums including that of the Aptera Car Forum and Buzz Users Forum.

Several times now people have asked me how to attach a file to a forum. So this article will cover what a forum is, how a forum can help you make money online and of course how to attach a file to share it with others on a forum. Read on….

What Is a Forum?

A forum is a central location which allows it’s members and sometimes visitors to interact with each other to share information and discuss all types of topics. Usually forums have a central topic perhaps even my favorite, martial arts.
