Will EBooks Replace the Paper Originals?

Just yesterday, on July 20, Amazon announced that the sale of ebooks had even surpassed the sale of hardcover books. For every 100 hardcover books sold, Amazon sold around 180 ebooks during the past month. It seems everything is going electronic these days. Newspapers, snail mail, research; staples of everyday recent life have all been taken over by more efficient, electronic versions provided through the internet. Furthermore, the electronic industry seems to be poised to pounce on the book market and make paper books an obsolete thing of the past; but will they succeed?
Well, yes and no.

Okay, you’ve ordered a ton of them, you’ve watched all the big time gurus getting rich from them, and now…you’ve decided it’s time for you to write an eBook. I suppose the first thing you must do, is figure out what you want to write an eBook about.
A lot of folks will tell you that you must first “find a starving crowd.” And, they’re right. But, you’ll want to hold on to that thought for a later time. Right now, I believe it is more important to concentrate and put your efforts into writing about something you know about first hand.
How to Create Your Own E-book

For some people, creating their own e-book will be the best thing for them as they might want to stay in the internet business for a while or even make it a full time job, either which way, I want to teach such people how to create their own information product.
Creating an information product or e-book is not a big task to what some people take it to be. For you to produce a hot smoking report and make money from it, the thing you need to do is to take action. Shut the ringer off on your phones, lock the door, close your email, and start tying. Start with an outline on which type of e-book you which to write, either short report or a long one and also the number of words you which to write per day. If you are writing a short report from your experience or what you have seen or heard, it should not be more than 1-30 pages which you can complete in a day but if you do not want to stress yourself, you can decide to write 10 pages per day for the next three days. Make sure you keep typing until you finish your e-book and do not worry about editing because you can do that once draft is completed.

I find if you market these eBooks correctly you can actually make money from the your purchase of the catalog or free eBooks right away.
If you decide you just want the free eBooks there is sometimes an affiliate program you can join for free. I find this is very helpful if you want to try your hand at internet marketing without putting out a lot of cash.
With the affiliate programs that are sometimes attach to these offers you get resource tools to promote these products. If you would like to try your hand at affiliate marketing without putting out much; then this is a good way to start or if you are already involved in online marketing then this can be another source of income for you.
By the way not all eBooks are created equally but there are a lot of great ones out there.

Ebooks versus Real Books

Hmmmmm – I have been reading about ebook readers – the electonic type that is.
Did you know that Amazon claims it sold more Ebooks on Christmas Day than paper ones (or Real Books as I call them) !!!! Mind you, you can have an ebook instantly on Christmas Day, whereas you have to wait until the shops open on Boxing Day to get a Real One 
OK – my thoughts are …………….those ebooks readers are very expensive!! Plus there are extras for them –covers and clip on lights and the like!
I have trouble finding my iPod and phone in my bag let alone an ebook reader. I would find a Real Book far more easily. More >
