KISS Training – Keeping IT Simple
About Us
Who is Keep It Simple Software Training?
It is………Suzanne Barnett, Eileen Bowley and Clare Axon-Saunders. We are 3 highly motivated and successful women who deliver simple software and computer solutions to business owners. We each have our areas of expertise which enables us to deliver a high standard of training.
Suzanne is a qualified Trainer of IT, Presenter, Life Coach, NLP Master Practitioner, Hypnotherapist and Thought Field Therapist. She is a full member of the Institute of IT Training and is one stage away from gaining full Microsoft Partnership status.
Suzanne’s previous company has been involved in providing training specifically designed to meet personal requirements and company objectives. She takes your specification for a course or courses and find a solution to your pain. She does this by designing a course relating to your specific IT set-up, writing course structure, lesson plans, exercises and notes to facilitate continuous learning. Suzanne’s company work with Which Consumers’ Association delivering courses that were specifically designed around their customized desk top. During the process she was also involved in the design, implementation and delivery of bespoke automated templates, customizing Word and PowerPoint with their corporate style.
Suzanne also worked closely with O’Rourke Construction to design a corporate style which then flowed onto their desktops and trained over a 1,000 staff in how to use the corporate templates and how to use Word, Excel and PowerPoint together with PowerProject and AutoCad.
In addition Suzanne’s company became the authorized training provider for FWBS Matter Centre who provide a Case Management bespoke software package. Her team of five trainers learnt the product and from there she developed a complete and comprehensive training programme ranging from user level to administrator level for FWBS customer base of Law Firms across the UK, Australia and North America.
Suzanne has built up an experienced professional team of Trainers to deliver training for the basic user to the more advanced techie developer. She finds them and vets them herself and constantly monitors and measures their delivery and skills ensuring that you our client always receive the best for your requirements.
Suzanne is mother to 9 year old Georgie, loves to have fun doing kids things, likes to water ski at the West Midlands Water Ski club during the Summer and whenever she gets the chance when she travels. She loves nothing more than waking up in the morning and walking her Cocker Spaniel and socializing with wonderful interesting people. Slightly bonkers, lots of fun and that comes across in her presentation and training style.
Eileen Bowley worked in many senior administrative roles in the Government and also in the NHS. She ended up, by default, delivering mini IT training sessions to staff who didn’t want to go on training courses for a variety of reasons – i.e lack of confidence, not wanting to take a full day out of the office, feeling training wasnt really relevant to real work. Eileen found she had a flair for quickly learning software programs – and more importantly learning the parts of the software that were relevant to her work. How many times have you been on a course that is really not relevant to what you do? ( dont tell us………….too many!) Eileen has over 30 years experience so certainly knows why people have problems with software/computer training and has put many IT systems in place so that staff can work more efficiently and effectively. Too much time is wasted trying to work out how to do simple basic things.
Earlier this year, Eileen left her job and set up her own online computer training business. She has also been very involved in working in a support role for a successful Internet Marketer. Eileen has now supported many students in their studies in Internet Marketing and has many skills in this area which she is building on all the time.
Eileen is therefore able to help businesses to become aware of how they can use the Internet to market their business and how they can improve on their websites to do this. She is also able to advise businesses how to grow a list of prospective customers and how they can keep in touch with them …..and also WHY they should keep in touch with them.
Clare Axon-Saunders is a friendly and experienced Personal Assistant, administrator and secretary. A very organised and highly efficient person which combined with her excellent IT skills make her very useful in the office! Clare has worked with Suzanne for 3 years and has provided her with excellent organizational skills, from arranging 1:1 training sessions to complete company role outs and scheduled training events. Clare is very detail orientated and pays particular attention to giving our clients a timely response.
Clare also has her own Virtual Assistant business, OnlineVA. You can find out more here
Clare’s first love is Euwe her horse and she spends time everyday being with him, training and riding him. She is an outstanding support to the business and all of our existing clients love her professional yet friendly approach.
